Our client, a power solutions company with offices in Somerset West and Johannesburg, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in their Johannesburg Office .


The ideal candidate is someone that is confident and willing to deal with problems or new tasks and that can get things done. We are looking for a go-getter.


Responsibilities:



  • Actively seek out, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Ensure legal and contractual compliance.
  • Ensure financial viability and operational deliveries are mapped out and met.
  • Build relationships, build the companies brand, and ensure client requirements are addressed when developing new business opportunities.
  • Ensure new business ventures align with and compliment the great growth strategy.

Required skills and qualifications:



  • Bachelor of commerce degree (or equivalent) or Engineering degree.
  • Successful track record in business development.
  • Knowledge of the power/ solar industry / generators / micro grids sectors.
  • Existing relevant networks.
  • Ability to find own leads to turn into new clients.
  • Ability to run with new clients who have already signed.

Salary: Market related and depending on experience.


Area: Johannesburg (Rosebank and West Rand).


Years Experience: 5 to10 years plus in a Business Development Manager position, ideally in the renewable energy engineering sectors
