Salary – Up to R18 000.00 per month, depending on experience
Our client that operates within the financial sector has an opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in Sunnyside, PTA area.
Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Office base
Duties will be, but are not limited to:
Full function accounting, payroll and tax duties which includes but is not limited to:
· Handling all SARS submissions, follow-ups, and ensuring tax compliance
· Registration of taxpayers and meticulous record-keeping
· Efficiently managing PAYE, VAT, Income Tax, and dividend taxes
· Submitting assessments with supporting documents and monitoring progress
· Staying updated on changes in tax laws and ensuring compliance
· Preparation of financial reports and statements
· Collaborating with internal teams for accurate financial data
· Bookkeeping/accounting up to Trial balance
· Payroll duties
Requirements:
Minimum requirements:
· 2+ years’ experience as a Bookkeeper working up to trial balance
· Must have a driver’s license and own car as travelling might be required
· Relevant tertiary education would be highly advantage.
· MS Office, Pastel, Sage, Xero, Management.io, Draftworx , and Greatsoft (Advantage)
· Experience with SARS submissions, tax compliance, and registration
· Experience in handling PAYE, VAT, Income Tax, and dividend taxes
· Must have payroll and tax experience
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work with people of all ages
