New vacancy is available for a Team Leader in the Production Department for our client in Port Elizabeth. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:- Determining, implementing and monitoring production processes and plans.
- Facilitate the training of team members to ensure versatility and machine rotation for break and relief.
- Responsible for daily production reports and taking action required when targets are not met.
- Manpower planning.
- Knowledge and adherence to H&S and HR procedures and regulations.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards.
- Ability to effectively monitor & direct their team.
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate their team.
- Exceptional planning skills to ensure full utilization of team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and must be good at multi-tasking.
- Good sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Target driven.
- Deadline driven.
- Productivity, quality and safety conscious.
- A proven track record of high integrity and strong team leader- Lead by example.
- Must have an open mind and be willing to learn and adapt to an ever- changing environment.
- Grade 12 with maths or equivalent.
- Supervisor/Management experience with direct disciplinary responsibility (Min 2 Years).
- Managerial/Supervisory qualification.
- Product on hand experience will be an added advantage.
- Computer Literate –EXCEL Intermediate (minimum).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
