Description:

Commvault Enterprise Department:

  • Develop and maintain vendor and customer relationships
  • Establish an internal and external business network to ensure sales success
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Assist with the sales process and provide weekly sales forecasts
  • Develop/assist with implementation of growth and marketing strategies
  • Display knowledge of roadmaps and product life cycles
  • Achieve applicable industry certifications and ensure they remain current
  • Coach and support sales personnel new to the Commvault portfolio
  • Deliver vendor and customer presentations and training
  • Partake in tender evaluation, product/solution recommendation, and pricing
  • Accurately price products/solutions as per vendor or customer requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills - essential
  • Min 3 years business development and/or external sales experience within IT industry - essential
  • Knowledge of IT industry, channel, marketing, and promotional strategies - essential
  • Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and sales plans
  • Local and interprovincial travel
  • Driver’s license and own transport
  • Matric with mathematics - essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualification - advantageous
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills - essential
  • Min 3 years business development and/or external sales experience within IT industry - essential
  • Knowledge of IT industry, channel, marketing, and promotional strategies - essential
