We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Key Performance Areas
Project Accounting / Reporting:
Maintain and update project-related financial records
Import/Update approved project budgets onto Oracle NetSuite
Creating custom financial reports as required by donors and internal projects
Analyse, review, rearrange and compare original expenditures related to a project to meet various reporting needs
Prepare financial reports periodically as required
Assist project managers with monitoring, analysis, forecasting and comments upon project variances
Liaise with Unit heads, Field offices and programme managers to gather financial and project accounting requirements, as well as tailored reporting structures
Monitor and Maintain donor financial requirements, conditions and reporting deadlines
Assist programme/project staff with conceptual budgets where requested
Compile information for external auditors, as required
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years' experience as an accountant
Familiarity with Oracle / SAP / Oracle's NetSuite is essential
Practical experience in the field of Financial donor reporting
Computer literate: MS Outlook, Word and Excel intermediate level
Analyse and summarise financial data accurately with a strong attention to detail
Deadline driven and able to manage conflicting deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
Good interpersonal skills
Team player
Positive attitude and willing to share and develop skills further
