We are looking for a passionate professional with skills in Business Intelligence / Business Analysis (BI/BA) to join our internal services team at IQbusiness. The individual will be working on BI and Integration projects and must be able to get their hands dirty across process, data and business analysis. As this role will stretch across the business and its various areas, engagement and good business acumen will be required. Process documentation, BRD's, User Stories, Data Flows and Wireframes are just a few of the skills and techniques we use across the project environment. We look at solving problems across Technology and Business which will help enable our people and business for their future. *Qualifications and Experience* * Bachelors' Degree and/or Diploma aligned to Business or Technology required * Must have 5 + years' experience as an all-round BA (data, process and business analysis) * BI Business Analysis, data design and systems analysis experience in a data and analytics environment * Must have* *financial services experience as a Business Analyst * Experience in various project methods and principles (Agile, Waterfall, RUP) * Ability to transfer requirement documentation into user stories and integrate it into the Agile space * Engagement across stakeholders and ability to run information gathering sessions * Skills:* * Formal or practical experience in the BABOK * Multiple process notations * Business Writing Skills * Presentation and Facilitation Skills * BI Best Practices * Data Warehouse Methodologies * Data Analysis and Governance * Data Modelling based on Entity Diagram Mapping * Data Product Life Cycle * SQL * Repository-Based Modelling tools i.e. ARIS * Business Change Life Cycle * System Development Life Cycle (Waterfall, Agile, RUP) * Quality and Risk Management * SOA, TOGAF, ARCHIMATE frameworks and methodologies * Outputs:* * Gather, interpret and document requirements (business, functional and technical) * Participate in the solution design process * Participate in (ensuring/enabling) data integrity, quality and governance * Define the success criteria, document test cases and provide support across the test environments * Analyse, deconstruct and map existing and new business processes * Align data sources, flows, storage and reporting * Assist with solution delivery on implementation and training. * Analyse current business processes and make recommendations for improvement * Improve operational procedures within the business to increase efficiency and productivity * Work directly with internal clients to understand the individual needs of the business * Create and present reports * Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion * Identify effective solutions for business software system issues Please note: As all IQbusiness roles require honesty in the handling of or access to cash, finances, financial systems, or confidential information; our recruitment process
