Description:
Consult to a portfolio of clients including both umbrella and stand-alone clients
Provision of appropriate advice, excellent client service and project management to ensure the smooth running of the client base
Establish a relationship with key decision makers and Trustees/ management committee members
Ensure Service Level Agreements are on file for all clients and services are provided in line with SLA
Develop an annual year plan for each client and ensure adherence to deliverables
Review agendas for trustee/management committee meetings and ensure distribution in line with SLA
Attend trustee/management committee meetings and other adhoc meetings as required
Review minutes of meetings and ensure that they are distributed in line with SLA
Ensure matters arising from meetings are actioned timeously
Review and present risk and administration re-brokes
Procure Fidelity Guarantee Insurance for trustees, where necessary
Attend regular meetings with administrators/service providers regarding status of funds
Negotiate with insurers/service providers
Identification of cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within client base
Attend regular meetings with team to discuss workflow and problem areas
Coaching and development of junior team members
Assist in formulation and implementation of best practice
Minimum Qualification
A three year related qualification
Further studies an advantage
Experience
Minimum five years experience in a retirement fund consulting role preferably with exposure to stand alone funds
