Description:
Our client in the Automotive Industry, requires the services an experience HR Officer to temporarily join their team.
Key performance areas:
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, policy updates, and diversity initiatives.
- Assist with employment equity monthly maintenance and annual reporting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
- Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions on various HR topics, such as harassment prevention, leadership development, and performance management.
- Assist with recruitment & selection process by conducting interviews and reference checks
- Conducting exit interviews
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Experience with Sage People will be advantageous
- Must have In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships at all levels
- Must have excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Must be proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A positive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to take on new tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with an Degree in Human Resources or related field
