We are looking for a Sales Rep to look after the Western Cape, Northern areas.

The company has 19 manufacturing sites on 5 continents and 64 subsidiaries worldwide and is the largest independent European manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and polyurethane foams for professional and private users.
POSITION SUMMARY:
To achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and sales penetration within Western Cape are. Be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships as well as personal contact and to secure new business accounts / customers. Ideally someone technically minded with experience in both retail and end user market.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be willing to travel, including overnight stays, to different hardware stores • Valid driver’s license
• Own transport
• Matric (Grade 12), a formal qualification in Marketing / Sales will be advantageous.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Sales Representative with proven sales record . KNOWLEDGE
• Preferably knowledge of the Hardware Industry or selling in the retail industry;
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.
SKILLS:
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills, high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good marketing skills
• Excellent verbal and written English and Afrikaans communication skills.
Appointment will be 01/05/2024
Basic salary – R20,000 depending on experience
Medical Aid – R2,000
Car allowance – R6,000
Provident Fund 5% of Basic salary
Quarterly KPI Bonus – based on Basic salary ( Can earn up to base salary 4 times a year – paid the following month after a quarter)
