As a sales intern, you will have the chance to learn and grow alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist the sales team in daily administrative tasks such as data entry, order processing, and inventory management.Learn and develop product knowledge to better assist customers and provide excellent service.Collaborate with team members to plan and execute sales strategies, including promotional events and marketing campaigns.Support the sales team in conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.Provide exceptional customer support and address inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards to ensure an organised and appealing store environment.Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in sales techniques.RequirementsCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in business, marketing, or a related field.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.High level of motivation and a strong desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment.Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software systems.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.Matric certificate or NQF Level 4.
