To provide general legal advice, including legal research on litigation mattersTo manage clients that are in business rescueTo manage clients that are in liquidationTo manage recoveries/debt collectionQualificationLaw degree and Admission as an Attorney essentialMaster’s degree such as LLM and MBA desirableKnowledge Skills A minimum of 5 years’ post-article experience in the financial services industryExperience of similar work within the SOE/Development Finance environment will be an added advantageExperience in business rescue proceedingsExperience in recoveriesExperience in preparing reportsExperience in the drafting and negotiation of settlement agreementsManage litigation matters on behalf the clientProvide general legal advice, including legal research on litigation mattersmanage clients that are in business rescuemanage clients that are in liquidationManage recoveries/debt collectionEnsure compliance with internal legal and other client procedures and policiesIdentify and minimize potential legal risksNegotiate, draft, and review settlement agreements and other legal documentationMake presentations on legal and regulatory developmentsConducting legal due diligence investigationsEnsure client satisfaction by providing speedy delivery of agreements and adviceDeveloping and maintaining relationships with clients, external legal counsel and other key stakeholdersDevelop and maintain client and institutional relationships, locally and internationallyPrepare various reports on legal matters
