Description:
The onsite Development Graduate resource will be responsible for supporting and assisting the team where needed. They will need to learn to troubleshoot from an operating system level up. As the resource grows in the knowledge of the domain where they are assigned, they will begin to assist the developers with troubleshooting problems within the developed code in the production environments
The resource will follow instructions from the team lead/Line manager. During this graduate year, the resource will move between different domains and begin to learn of the different software solutions that Adapt IT provide their clients
Primary Responsibilities for the Role
Provide day to day production 3rd line support by working with both the support engineers and developers within the domain where they are assigned.
Do small development on Adapt IT software solutions as and when requested by the team leader.
Attend all Domain level 10 meetings
Application and Solution development led by a senior developer
Maintaining and contributing to system standards.
Improve the automation of tasks where possible
Adhering to Adapt IT code writing best practices
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Strong Interest in Software programming skills
- Presentation Skills.
- Problem Solving Skills
- Technical Writing Skills.
- Research Skills.
- Solid understanding in Microsoft Office
- Interest and/or skills in Linux (Nice to have)
