A dynamic property services organisation is looking for a candidate with a passion for the property industry to join their team as a Sectional Title and H.O.A Portfolio Manager. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of Sectional Title and Home Owner’s Association complexes across Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Experience:
Suitable candidates will attend scheduled meetings, deal with complex maintenance, service providers, collections of levies, creditor payments, complex employee management, liaising with trustees and directors and other general requirements.
Minimum Qualifications required by the position:
- Ideally Tertiary qualification graduate (ideally commerce, law, finance, property studies)
Minimum Experience required by the position:
- At least four years’ experience as Sectional Title/ HOA Portfolio Manager

Job Purpose
To effectively manage the daily margin/collateral requirements of Standard Bank as prescribed by the various collateral agreements (e.g. ISDA/CSA) signed with counterparties, for OTC trades.The Collateral Management function currently supports the Global Markets business as well as those African Regions with whom there are SLA’s in place for the outsourcing of the collateral management function to SA.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Margin management and processing
Ensuring that all margin requirements are actioned:Generating margin calls, Producing delivery notices, Actioning settlements of margin calls.Resolving portfolio discrepancies & Dispute management.Generating and sending interest statements, settling interest.Resolving queries in a timely fashion
Risk mitigation
Collateral management with a view to minimize credit and operational risks.
Change management
Ensure operational risks are avoided in successful implementation of Collateral related projects, such as process and system enhancements/automation and & regulatory reform.Representation on relevant boards, meetings and engagements to ensure oversight of and correct decision making for and by GMOComplete relevant testing and comfort to management to be able to sign off on new processes and system enhancements.
Stakeholder engagement
Foster effective working relationships with stakeholders who are involved in the margining & risk mitigation processes.

Main Purpose:
Maintain a portfolio of funds by finishing daily, monthly, and quarterly chores, creating yearly financial statements of the highest quality for customers by 4 months of the Funds year-end, and coordinating and facilitating the filing of financial statements to FSB within 6 months. Respond to PFA/FSCA complaints in respect of the different Funds Administered by SALT EB within the prescribed timeframes.Draft eight responses per day, forty per week and one hundred and sixty per month.Timeous implementation of OPFA determinations.Ensure that responses to PFA and other stakeholders are of high-quality standard, furthermore, to ensure that supporting documents relate the drafted response.Attend to PFA queries relating to responses/Attorney and member queries.
