Description

Our client in the Refrigeration Industry, based in the Vaal area is currently looking to employ Branch Manager (Refrigeration, HVAC and Airconditioning).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the automotive or refrigeration industry preferred.
  • Refrigeration and or HVAC and or Airconditioning knowledge and sales experience and management experience.
  • Technical refrigeration/ Automotive product knowledge.
  • Technical industry knowledge (Has existing networks in the industry).
  • Business acumen (understand how business works).

 

Responsibilities:

Manage, Grow and Lead the branch:

  • Create, improve, and implement processes and systems to ensure the branch runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist sales representatives in maintaining sufficient stock levels in the branch and requesting additional stock.
  • Organise inter-branch transfers (IBT’s) and ensure the transfer of stock from other branches is done in a cost-effective manner.
  • Analyse product sales performance and resolve issues causing slow moving stock.
  • Understand the local market needs, report these needs to the Sales Manager and develop localized sales strategies to meet these needs.
  • Suggest products to go on special to the Sales Manager.
  • Recruit, select and on-board employees for the branch.
  • Manage the leave of the branch’s employees.
  • Check in with branch employees to discuss any work challenges they are facing, and coach and assist them in overcoming their challenges.

Monitor Sales Performance:

  • Review and report on the item group sales performance to the General Manager.
  • Monitor and issue sales reports.
  • Ensure that the sales department achieves/exceeds sales targets.

Maintain Customer Relationships:

  • Call and visit the branch’s customer base (on a regular basis) to receive feedback on the customer service received.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
