Raw Material Stores Senior Assistant needed by global chemical manufacturing company, duties and requirements include:

2 years minimum stores /warehousing experience
Valid forklift license
Experience in the chemical industry
Issue raw materials
Receive raw materials
Control raw materials
Pack and stack raw materials
Sample raw materials upon receiving
Receive and offload bulk containers
Work with batch sheets
Conduct required repacks
Operate forklift
Carry out scale verifications
Advise supervisor of any required replenishments timeously
Assist in preparation for stock take as well as actual counting
Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts
Maintain housekeeping
Act as backup for stores supervisor when required
Participate in internal audits
Assist in preparation for external quality audits
working in an ISO 9000 certified company
