Minimum requirements:
- A pathology/public health medicine specialist qualification registered with the HPSCA and 10 years experience at the management level with substantial executive experience, preferably in a laboratory or health environment.

- A PhD Medical Scientist/Medicine/Nursing/Pharmacy who is registered with either the HPCSA, SANC or Pharmacy Council with 12 years experience at the management level with substantial executive experience preferably in a laboratory or health environment.
OR
- An equivalent postgraduate business qualification, e.g. CA(SA), MBA and 12 years experience in related businesses with extensive executive experience preferably in a laboratory or health environment.

Compile reports on, and conduct test work where required.
Assist in compilation and updating of operating and maintenance manuals
Ensure QA/QC procedures are adhered to, and internationally accepted standards are maintained.
Ensure safety procedures as per business and OHSA requirements are adhered to
