Our client in the Petroleum Oil and Gas sector is looking for a code 10 driver & inventory clerk to join their team based in Port Elizabeth. Qualifications and Requirements :Â- Grade 10 or Matric.Â
- +- 3 years driving experience
- Must have valid driverâs licence â Code 10
- Valid dangerous goods certificate.
- Valid forklift licence will be an advantage.
- To perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed.
- Ensure that all payload on route is safely loaded and that all measures will be taken to ensure no stock losses occur.
- To ensure the delivery vehicle is maintained and in proper running order.
- Always keep the delivery vehicle clean and neat.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets diligently and correctly.
- To check and sign that all stock being loaded per delivery is correct and corresponds with the pick ticket and delivery note.
- Responsible for fuelling the truck and submitting tickets for purchase of such fuel to the supervisor.
- Attend and successfully complete all necessary staff orientation and training functions.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols implemented by the company at all times.
- Report all incidents immediately to the office and complete an Incident Report form timeously.
- Assist with weekly and monthly Inventory Count
- Housekeeping of warehouse to be done as and when needed.
- Â Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk: Month End Inventory Stock Count
- Weekly stock count & Discrepancies
- Receiving of stock
- Inventory Tagging
- Clean and maintain the warehouse and the tools and equipment in the warehouse to keep all in order and in compliance with federal, states and local safety rules.Â

- Decanting of stock
