We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Driver Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of commercial truck driving regulations, and a passion for imparting knowledge to aspiring drivers. As a Truck Driver Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of professional truck drivers, ensuring they have the skills and expertise needed to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.- PrPD and certified facilitator.
- Facilitate classroom-based training sessions, utilizing instructional materials, visual aids, and multimedia resources to effectively convey information. Cover topics related to trucking laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, progress reports, and evaluation results. Generate reports to track trainee performance and compliance with training objectives.
- Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively teach and mentor others.
- Excellent knowledge of trucking regulations, including hours-of-service requirements, vehicle inspections, and loads.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other industry technology preferred.
- Prior experience in driver training or instruction is desirable
