An established restaurant situated in Cape Town City Centre is seeking an experienced kitchen manager to join and lead the kitchen department. This person will be responsible for the following:
A restaurant situated in Cape Town City Centre is seeking an experienced kitchen manager to join and lead the Back of House team.
This person will be responsible for the following:
1. Coordinating orders on the hot pass
2. Conduct weekly stock checks and place orders with suppliers in accordance with restaurant PAR levels and stock requirements
3. Responsible for the management of kitchen staff and discipline
4. Responsible for BOH rostering and attendance
5. Responsible for training and development of hot and cold section staff members
6. Responsible for implementation of regular kitchen cleaning schedules
7. Responsible for entering Bulk and Prep sheet counts on PILOT (DAILY)
8. Responsible for food quality and ensure that all dishes served are in accordance with Head Office recipes and standards
9. Responsible for portion control and wastage elimination
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have knowledge of PILOT POS
Candidate must have atleast 3 years kitchen manager experience
THIS POSITION PAYS R55.00 PER HOUR (Between R10'000.00 - R12'000.00 per month)
