Our client, a leading hygiene supplier, is currently recruiting a Purchasing Clerk to join their Cape Town office.
Requirements:
This role will involve continuously analysing production needs and planning procurement accordingly. This role requires regularly liaising with suppliers, price negotiation as needed as well as evaluating the quality of suppliers and materials. Sourcing new packaging, raw materials and equipment as needed, also form part of the responsibilities. General administrative duties are also expected.
The ideal candidate brings grade 12 and minimum 5 years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. A relevant tertiary qualification will be beneficial. Excellent knowledge of ERP or MRP systems as well as MS Office is essential.
