Description:
Our client based in Stikland is one of the leading suppliers of premium high-quality fertilisers to the South African residential and commercial industries.
They are in the market for an experienced bookkeeper to join their team. Ideally, the candidate must be able to start January 2022.
Candidate will be responsible for the below:
Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance.
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions (including Assets and Inventory).
Balance accounts by reconciling entries.
Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends, all SARS submissions (VAT, PAYE, Dividend Tax, Income Tax, Easy Filing)
Debtors and Creditors
Ad-hoc duties as given by management
Requirements:
ALL CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN CAPE TOWN, WESTERN CAPE.
Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
Bookkeeping Diploma or Financial Degree.
Min 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Fully computer literate and must have excel advanced experience.
Pastel experience.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans and must be a good communicator.
A responsible person who takes pride in their work, is responsible and is accountable.
The ability to work under pressure and to meet strict operational and reporting deadlines.
A problem solver.
A team player who is driven by success.
