Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional registration as a Resident Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• Proven experience in a resident engineer role overseeing civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with project teams, contractors, and clients.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control standards applicable to construction projects.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical issues on-site in a timely manner.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
