Description:
A client of ours based in the Northern Suburbs specializing in Electrical and Automation Engineering has an opportunity available for a HR Manager to join their team.
The HR Manager role will work closely with the CEO, Heads of Department, Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure standardised, best practice HR policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and supported.
Requirements:
· A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience working in management or HR.
· Sound/practical understanding and experience in relevant labor legislation, HR policies and procedures, such as: Recruitment and Selection, Performance review methods and techniques, Staff training and development and Staff recognition.
· Employment Equity practices
· Industrial relations
· Basic mentoring and coaching experience
· Relevant SHE knowledge
· Experience working with NBCEI Council / any other relevant council and Union.
· Experience with Workman Compensation
· Aid’s – FEM will be advantageous.
Qualifications:
3-year degree in HR (recommended)
Management Diploma / qualification (advantageous)
