We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities and experience:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
- Strong sales background in FMCG with minimum 5 years’ experience in sales
- Must have a sound knowledge of the “Wine Industry”
- Previous sales experience in either the wine or hospitality industry
- Strong negotiation skills on various levels of management
- Adaptability to changing market and clients needs
- Must reside in the East / South rand area of Gauteng
- Must have a friendly approach and vibrant personality
- Own transport
- Must be prepared to travel distances in relevant area
- Flexible hours (sometimes includes weekend work)
- Tertiary qualification : Degree / Diploma in Marketing will be beneficial
- Computer literate essential
Duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure sales targets for respective channels in relevant area are met
- Managing and building good client relationships
- Staff training and support in various channels
- Creating a unique and new opportunities to promote and sell wines to various channels
- Attending and supporting wine shows, events and dinners
- Activating promotional activities in various channels for both trade and consumers
- Provide weekly and monthly feedback to management, sales and marketing team on performance
