Description:Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Mine Planner (Medium-Term) to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. As a Mine Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining medium-term mine plans, ensuring they are aligned with operational objectives, resource availability, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create medium-term mine plans based on geological data and mining requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production and resource utilization.
- Monitor and update mine plans to accommodate changes in mining conditions, equipment availability, and market demands.
- Conduct regular site visits to gather data and assess operational performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to mining engineers and operational teams.
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
- 5 years' experience as a Mine Planner in the mining industry.
- Rock Breaking Certificate.
- Competency A / Legal Liability (Advantageous)
- Proficiency in modelling software and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Salary: Negotiable
