Description:Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company in the Northern Cape is in search of a skilled Safety Officer to join their team. As a Safety Officer in the mining industry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of employees and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
- Identify and report potential hazards and unsafe conditions
- Provide safety training and education to employees
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Safety Management/Relevant.
- COMSOC 1 & 2 and/or SAMTRAC
- 3 years' experience as a Safety Officer in the mining industry
- Knowledge of mining safety regulations and procedures
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work in the Northern Cape and start immediately.
- Salary: Negotiable
