Architect with ArchiCAD- Cape Town
An established Architectural Firm based in Cape Town specialising in Commercial Projects is looking for an Architect to join their team
The opportunity:
In this exciting position, you will be involved in the architectural design and technical aspects of projects, from initiation to concept development and construction.
Personal attributes and experience:
· Proficiency in ArchiCAD- Work on the program daily
· Excellent academic background and SACAP registered as a Professional Architect
· At least five years post-qualification experience leading projects
· Ability to work on projects from concept to completion
· Stage 1- Stage 6
· Demonstrable design skills, and an aptitude for team management
· Experience with design stage to construction - on a series of complex, large-scale projects spanning the mixed-use, residential, commercial, cultural, educational, civic and hospitality sectors
· Thorough technical knowledge
· Expertise in construction drawings and detailing
· Intricate understanding of building systems and materials, and infallible knowledge of practice and industry standards and codes
· Enjoys working collaboratively, while contributing to multiple teams
· Time-management and delivery skills
Salary is dependent on experience, current salary, skills and experience. R32 000 Gross –R50 000 Gross)
Requirements:
- Architect: 4 to 5 years
- Archicad: 4 to 5 years
