Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly or monthly basis
  • Update and maintain employee records in payroll system
  • Calculate and process wage garnishments, deductions, and adjustments
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and submit payroll taxes to relevant government agencies
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Assist with audits and other payroll-related projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage
  • Must have experience working with Sage VIP payroll
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll administration or a related field
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
  • Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
