Description:
My client, a well established listed retail company, is looking for a Property Accountant to join the team with immediate effect.
The ideal candidate must have a degree and minimum 5 years in a similar role.
Duties and responsibilities will be explained during the interview process.
Daily tasks include working with bank accounts, handling property related queries, processing of invoices and following up with debtors. Monthly tasks include bank recons (15), dealing with SARS submissions incl VAT, preparing monthly/quarterly reporting packs, management reporting. Other ad hoc duties including assisting with audits and preparation of AFSs.
Requirements:
- Excel: 5 to 6 years
- Property Accounting: 5 to 6 years
The ideal candidate must have a degree as well as minimum 5 years in similar role within property division of blue chip co.
Must be available with immediate effect
Must have outstanding financial acumen and be able to work independently.
Computer skills - excellent Excel and SAP beneficial.

This candidate would be required to work either a Saturday or a Sunday (2 weekend days per month ) in order to provide support to the retail stores.
