Our client, a fully-integrated producer, packer, and marketer in the Food Production sector located in the Citrusdal Valley, Western Cape , is seeking a passionate and dedicated Irrigation Maintenance Manager to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the upkeep, functionality, and reliability of the Irrigation and Fertigation systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 + years of hands-on experience with irrigation in agriculture
- A commitment to ongoing learning and development
- Ability to swiftly address emergencies
- Relevant, demonstrated expertise, with a preference for water management knowledge
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- A collaborative mindset, with a knack for thriving in team environments

- Budgeting and financial management for repairs and maintenance
- Fostering the growth of technical and operational teams within the irrigation domain
- Collaborating with diverse Operational, Specialist, Technical, Engineering, and Business Intelligence Teams
