A leader in the FMCG industry has partnered with LabourTek to recruit a NPD Food Technologist to join their plant located in the rolling hills of the Western Cape.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be responsible for complete development process from market research until launch, including coordinating launches and running trials. They will also be tasked with modifying existing products and continuously improving quality control procedures. They will be responsible for selecting raw materials and ingredients from suppliers as well as preparing product costing. This role will require a creative mind who can research food supply, security and sustainability as well as packaging innovation and technology.
This role requires a tertiary qualification in Food Science and minimum 2 years related experience. Knowledge of processing, manufacturing and quality control procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and BRC is expected.
