They are currently looking for an IT (Project) Manager to manage and grow the department and to help steer the company in its digitalization efforts by d esigning, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures.
The ideal incumbent will hold a BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/similar and will have minimum 5 to 10 years of experience, including supervisory experience.

Job description / core competencies:
Manage information technology and computer systems.
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals.
Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports.
Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees.
Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities.
Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
Conducting risk assessments for projects.
Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress.

Requirements:
Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
Ability to manage personnel.
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
