Debtors Clerk

My client, an established Auditing and Accounting firm in Somerset West, are seeking to employ an experienced Debtors Clerk to join their team.The ideal candidate must be proficient in English and Afrikaans and have proven experience with the collection of outstanding debt.Experience in the use of Xero Accounting and Greatsoft will be a further advantage The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Proficient in English and Afrikaans
• Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
• Proven experience with the collection of outstanding debt
• Professional and courteous
• Administratively oriented and organised
• Be attentive to detail
• Experience in the use of Xero Accounting and Greatsoft will be a further advantage

Key administrative responsibilities include:

• Daily bank reconciliations;
• Reconciliation of accounts across systems;
• Sending debtor statements;
• Attending to client queries as they arise;
• Meeting deadlines.

• Post Matric qualification in finances will be advantageous
• Proficient in English and Afrikaans
