Description:
General Responsibilities:
To raise and resolve any internal queries with relevant departments.
To maintain good housekeeping standards.
To continually strive to improve the departmental process.
Abide by Company regulations and policies.
Do checklists on vehicles and maintain vehicles
Provide other personnel with assistance on specialist knowledge/expertise.
Comply with the Health & Safety requirements of the Company.
To carry out other reasonable duties if and where the need arise and as instructed
Hours:
Mon to Thurs: 06h45 to 17h00
Fri: 06h45 to 15h00
Requirements:
Minimal requirements:
Matric
Good writing and communication skills
Excel sufficient
Drivers Licence
Specific Requirements:
Manage all stock and equipment control.
Make and Receive deliveries
Keep accurate account of diesel/fuel intake and dispensing, maintain diesel stock level in bowser
Ensure all items conform to any specified requirement and all relevant certification received with each consignment
Report any discrepancies/quality issues to supplier and raise reject notes as appropriate
Check all materials/components correspond to purchase order
Ensure the accuracy of all recorded stock through appropriate systems and processes.
All goods to be receipted in and issued out to relevant job/area
Goods to be stored in appropriate location
Ensure goods dispatched to sub-contractors are controlled and recorded, both to and from supplier
Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis
Monitor stock levels daily
Advise purchasing department of stock requirements
Carry out end of month stock take – Excel spreadsheet
Stock take sheets forwarded to purchasing department and monitor stock levels and manage as appropriate
