Description:

A well-established company based in Centurion has a vacancy available for a Regional Sales Lead whose primary role will be to drive sales growth and profitability within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building, and maintaining relationships with key customers, and leading a team to achieve targets. Your focus will be maximizing revenue, expanding customer footprint, and ensuring the highest customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to identify market trends, assess competitive threats, and develop plans to capitalize on opportunities.

This is a permanent position with company benefits (medical aid, provident fund, group life), quarterly incentives, company car, and annual performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the region.

Manage, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.

Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and IT to drive sales initiatives.

Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends within the region.

Drive the customer acquisition process.

Demonstrate commercial competence and increase customer utilization of both existing and new corridors.

Travel to relevant territories to manage team output and customer engagements.

Requirements:

Requirements:

Business Management/Project Management/Sales Diploma/Degree or equivalent.

Additional courses in relevant fields will be advantageous.

Valid Driver’s License and Passport.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

Current/previous experience in a customer and consumer-focused role with B2B experience.

Experience in the transport, logistics, and FMCG industry is advantageous.

Strong leadership skills: Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.

Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.

Analytical mindset: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop effective strategies.

Results-oriented: Strong focus on achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Customer focus: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.

Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and address sales-related issues effectively.

Team player: Ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve sales objectives.
