We invite candidates to apply for the Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager position for our client in the FMCG Industry in Port Elizabeth. They are seeking a creative individual skilled in creating visually appealing graphics and managing social media platforms. Main Duties/Key Results Areas:- Design and produce engaging graphic content for various media including websites, social media, and email campaigns.
- Manage and oversee social media content for platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase followers, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Monitor, moderate, and respond to audience comments; manage social media partnerships with other brands; and oversee creative contests and giveaways.
- Analyse and report on the performance of social media activities using quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing and lead generation strategies.
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g., sales, customer service) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry and digital trends.
- Implement and optimize SEO strategies to increase the visibility of our content in search engines.
- All and any other related tasks & duties as expected from the employer from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio of work in digital media.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and graphic design fundamentals.
- Experienced in managing social media platforms and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing, lead generation, and SEO.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Ability to analyse data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- A degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
