Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for a Shipping Admin Clerk to join their team based in Port Elizabeth. Qualifications and Requirements:- Diploma / Certificate or equivalent (NQF 5)
- Up to 3 years in an administrative environment in Shipping in particular in Manufacturing.
- Shipping administration : Data capturing related to receiving, stock-counts, invoicing (in main) and any other inventory management duties.
- Maintain the integrity of the entire administration system within the Automotive Shipping Dept.
- Preparation of shipping related documents specific to OEM requirements (eg. advanced shipping notices, etc.)
- Adherence to procedures with respect to export shipping administration specific.
- Assist with correspondence with customers related to goods in transit control.
- Assist with adjudication and resolving of customer complaints in conformance with service level agreements.
- Maintain various records key to the Department’s success, eg. sequential POD control.
- General office duties (administration).
- Compliance : Operates within controls and procedures in order to ensure the integrity of the company.
- Reports risks or areas of concern to management within own operating area.
- Promotes compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful and irregular expenditure.
- Customer service : Maintains effective working relationships with employees and customers to render highest quality of services.
- Identifies and solves problems whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity in line with company core values.
- Cost Control : Supports the effective and transparent use of financial and other resources.
- Limits expenditure, reduces costs and ensures deviations from budgetary limits are reported to direct Supervisor.
