Systems Engineer

Are you a skilled IT professional with a knack for managing and optimizing complex systems? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as the IT Systems Engineer. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT infrastructure, ensuring that operations run smoothly and meet the highest standards of service and quality. Responsibilities:

• Lead the management and administration of our IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices.
• Take charge of our servers and applications, including both Microsoft and Linux platforms.
• Manage our LAN devices, such as switches and firewalls, to maintain secure and efficient connectivity.
• Monitor our WAN links and collaborate with external partners to optimize their performance.
• Implement and manage information security measures, including antivirus software and endpoint protection.
• Oversee our VoIP telephone systems to ensure reliable communication across the organization.
• Keep our IT governance and compliance procedures up to date, including documentation and process flows.
• Provide input and guidance during the design and implementation of new IT systems and software.
• Take ownership of our IT incident management process, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Certification in MCP, MCSE, or MCITP.
• A+ and N+ certifications.
• CCNA certification.
• ITIL certification.
• Matric Certificate.

Experience:

• 7 years of experience in IT administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
• Strong understanding of server technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, SQL, and email systems.
• Solid grasp of networking concepts, such as routing, quality of service, VLANs, and firewall management.
• Thorough knowledge of information security practices, including endpoint protection and intrusion prevention.
• Familiarity with IT operations and processes.
