Purpose of the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Desk-Based Sales & Administrative Consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in both sales and administrative tasks, as it involves managing client relationships while also providing essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of new & existing accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through regular engagement.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.
  • Sales Support: Assist in the sales process by identifying leads, following up on inquiries, and providing product information to potential clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about company products and services, as well as industry trends, to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence to support the sales team and ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status using CRM software.

Required skills and qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in sales or account management roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Sales Acumen: Strong sales instincts and a results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels of an organization.
