De Wetshof Estate, situated between Robertson and Bonnievale, has the above opportunity for a dynamic ‘go-getter’ with excellent interpersonal and networking skills, paired with a passion for the wine industry, to join & grow with their expanding team.The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Director and be responsible for the following: *National sales & marketing *Implementation of marketing & sales strategies *Brand building *Market development & growth *Customer liaison through visits to local trade *Building relationships with customers *Liaison with retail wine buyers *Preparing & managing marketing & sales budgets *Liaising with cellar & bottling departments regarding forecasts for market requirements *Conducting market research *Planning & implementation of promotions & advertising campaigns *Representing the winery at wine events (wine shows, wine tastings, etc.) *Presenting wine tastings & cellar tours to clients *Handling customer complaints *Recordkeeping *Reporting on marketing & sales statistics *all other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Brand/Marketing Management;
• Approximately 3 years’ experience in wine marketing & sales;
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office);
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
• Valid driver's license;
• Willingness to travel at short notice and be away from home sometimes for up to 2/3 weeks.
