Description:
Our client, in the Transport Industry, requires the services of an accurate and self-determined Costing Controller join their team.
Key performance areas:
- Pr eparing the annual budget
- Assisting suppliers with queries
- Stock count of tyres/fuel/cleaning materials and stationery
- Operational involvement when needed
- Analysing trial Balance and reporting on variances to last year and budget
- Weekly/Monthly reporting of transport operational cost
- Weekly fuel reports, including daily recons
- Expense control and preparation of invoices for payment
- Preparation and posting of month end journals, incl. accruals
- Monthly KPI, issues, KM, Casual labour and fuel comparison reports
- Maintain/manage monthly Banking
Requirements:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a relevant Commercial / Financial qualification
- Must have commercial/financial accounting experience in a transport/logistics environment
