Wirquin Manufacturing (PTY) Ltd situated in Kariega has an exciting oppertunity available for an energetic professional who can join our dynamic team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Initiate forecast process and monthly forecast reviews
o Interact with sales team to validate data, anticipate trends, evolutions and events to come in the market
o Interact with marketing team to forecast the launch of new items/projects
o Interact with operations (supply chain and production mostly) to provide a demand forecast
· Be responsible of the forecasting tool management
o Correct history according to past events or promotions
o Propose new calculation models to improve statistical forecast
o Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation
o Define consensus forecast based on various inputs
· Analyze sales and forecast inaccuracies and initiate actions plan to improve it
· Purchasing and supplier functions
o Manage supplier database (Prices, Payment Terms, Leadtime, MOQ)
o Assist in supplier audits, progress reports & schedules
o Support supplier developer in execution of saving initiatives
o Collection, collation of all data for CSR Reporting for all purchasing, warehousing, logistics & SCM activities
· Material Master and Reporting
o Completion of new ICF according to requirement for all purchased items
o BOM creation, maintenance, santization
o Nett stock, Finished product and Stock Analysis reporting
Compilation of information for S&OP Meetings from S&M and SCM
Requirements:
- Supply Chain Management: 2 to 3 years
- Analyst: 1 to 2 years
- Demand Planning: 2 to 3 years
Education:
Qualification in commercial / supply chain management
Professional experience :
Experience in a similar role will be advantagious

· IT skills (Excel Intermediate as a minimum)
