This role is crucial to maintaining the financial records and ensuring the financial health of our operations within a burgeoning division of our E-commerce focused business, particularly focusing on B2B selling. Utilising cutting-edge Cloud-based accounting software and modern operational management tools, our bookkeeper will ensure a seamless financial workflow, supporting our ongoing business strategies.

Requirements:
- Accounting: 3 to 4 years
- Bookkeeping: 3 to 4 years

- Sage Pro
• Maintain and update financial records and transactions on a daily basis
• Ensure accuracy in financial documentation, reconciliations, and reporting
• Collaborate with the sales and operations team to analyse financial data and optimize budgeting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Process invoices, payments, and track expenses
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Adhere to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other legal financial obligations
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audits
• Recommend financial optimizations and support strategic business decision-making
• Minimum qualification of Grade 12; a Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Advanced levels of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office; experience with accounting software and databases
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to interact effectively with team members across various departments
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
• Self-driven, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
