Description:
- Focus on the development and support of new and existing software interfacing/integrations to the Company’s Syspro ERP system and Online Ordering and Campaign Management Systems
- Analysis of systems
- Analysis of client needs
- Development and configuration of integration software
- Systems testing
- Systems implementation
- Providing support and maintenance to third-party developer applications
- Rendering of client assistance as and when required
Requirements:
- Focus on the development and support of new and existing software interfacing/integrations to the Company’s Syspro ERP system and Online Ordering and Campaign Management Systems
- Analysis of systems
- Analysis of client needs
- Development and configuration of integration software
- Systems testing
- Systems implementation
- Providing support and maintenance to third-party developer applications
- Rendering of client assistance as and when required
- A suitable tertiary qualification in Information Technology coupled with at least five years’ experience in a similar position.
- Proven experience in being independently responsible for software development and maintenance in line with company and end-user requirements, including considerable experience in Data Analytics and Development.
- Complete understanding of the latest developments in ICT, including hardware, networks, and systems.
- Excellent understanding of business principles and processes, preferably in Finance, Manufacturing and Distribution.
- A full understanding of Windows operating systems as well as databases (MSSQL) including proven experience in handling all aspects of SQL server functions.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Development experience required in most of the following: VB.NET, MSSQL, Web reports, Crystal Reports, SQL reports, API, MXL,JSON, PHP, HTML, Websites, WCF, IIS, Excel
- Good working knowledge of ERP principles with specific reference to Syspro.
- Valid driver’s licence with reliable transport
- A suitable tertiary qualification in Information Technology coupled with at least five years’ experience in a similar position.
