As the Journal controller you will be responsible for the below:
Monthly Tasks:
- Process recurring payroll-related journals.
- Process recurring revenue-related journals.
- Process AP accrual and AR-related journals.
- Process assets and capex-related journals.
- Process tax-related journals.
- Obtain supporting documentation for all journals.
- Address queries allocated in Fresh service.
- Address ad hoc queries from Brands.
- Provide information required by internal and external auditors.
- Execute tasks defined by Team Lead for additional projects (e.g., D365 migration).
- Review and update recurring journals as necessary.
- Reconcile payroll-related journals.
- Reconcile revenue-related journals.
- Reconcile AP accrual and AR-related journals.
- Reconcile assets and capex-related journals.
- Reconcile tax-related journals.
- Perform year-end adjustments for payroll.
- Perform year-end adjustments for revenue.
- Perform year-end adjustments for AP accrual and AR.
- Perform year-end adjustments for assets and capex.
- Perform year-end adjustments for taxes.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Assist with audit preparations.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Diploma in Accounting and related field .
1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role in finance.
