Monthly intercompany confirmations
Creditors / Debtors
Cashbooks and bank recons
Gene ral Ledger journal preparation & processing
Volumes & Sales projections vs STF & vs Budget
BBBEE – procurement, projections, reviews
BBBEE information compilation & audit preparation
Year End audit preparation & assistance
Assisting with preparation of intercompany notes of AFS
Monthly VAT Reconciliations & Audits
Bill of Materials costing maintenance
Mo nitoring of import documents, requesting VOC’s, etc.
Customs audits
Preferential origin annual & supplementary declarations
Monthly reporting on KPI’s
Requirements:
- Budgets: 3 to 4 years
- General Ledger: 3 to 4 years
- Reconciliations: 3 to 4 years
- Accountant: 5 to 6 years
Prerequisites for the position are as follows:
▪ B Com degree or equivalent diploma;
▪ 3-5 years’ experience in a production accounting environment, specifically with the above mentioned responsibilities;
▪ Good Computer skills, especially with MS Office (Excel), Axapta and D365
▪ Good inter-personal skills and experience in dealing with people
▪ Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Living in Durban or prepare to relocate on own cost
Own car / Drivers Licence
MS Office - Advance Excel - Pivot Table and V-Look-Ups
Pref. APDP knowledge and exposure
