Based: Gauteng -Remuneration R225 000 - R250 000 p.a (CTC)
(Initial Fixed Term Contract To Become Permanent Contract If You Are A Good Fit)
ABSOLUTE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Absolutely bilingual in Afrikaans AND English (Must be first or second language)
Valid Wireman’s License
Valid Code 8 (EB) License Without Endorsements
Clear criminal record - we will check- this is a requirements as you may at times need to work in either Namibia or Zambia, and a visa with a work permit will be required, with a criminal record you will not be able to obtain these.
Valid Passport
0 to 5 years of experience as an electrician with experience in doing repairs to existing electrical installations and be able to issue a C.O.C for the work.
The proven ability to do general maintenance over and above electrical work as stipulated below. With A “Can Do” approach.
Have own or very reliable transport to get to work in Sandton.
Be able to travel outside of Gauteng at times (not very often) as well as travel to Namibia and Zambia (Very seldomly)
Contactable and traceable references of past employment in a similar position within the last 0 to 5 years.
You will be required to:
Tiling (removal and re-tiling various areas - wall and floor tiles
▪ Plumbing unblocking of drains, urinals, toilets and other plumbing
outlets
▪ Repairs and replacements to taps, flushing units hose taps
▪ Painting- flush plastered ceilings and walls, this includes
waterproofing treatments
▪ General carpentry – cupboard doors, side wall skirtings.
doors, office doors, counters
▪ Door locks and fire door push bars – repairs and changes
▪ General ceiling repairs
▪ Door hinges (various) – repairs and changes
▪ Carpet stretching – entrances and within the premises as required
▪ Light changes – cleaning lights, box lights, LED strip lights, stair nosing replacements, stair light
replacement and signage lights. These should include bulb changes,ballast changes, transformer changes and wiring replacements (where required)
▪ General electrical works (NOT DB Impacted elements)
▪ Inline and extractor fan replacements
▪ Troubleshooting specific concerns e.g. ice machine not working whilst
on site or fridge not cooling.
