Description:

ENVIRONMENT:

They’re seeking an Application Administrator with expertise in overseeing and configuring enterprise-scale applications. A diploma or higher qualification, coupled with the following skills or experience, is required.

DUTIES:

Performance Monitoring and Optimisation:


  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analysing logs, identifying bottlenecks, and optimising configurations.

Documentation:


  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including installation guides, configuration details, troubleshooting procedures, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.
  • Document application configurations and procedures for future reference and training.

Training and Support:


  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilise the applications.
  • conducting training sessions, creating user guides, and responding to user inquiries and issue

Monitoring and Reporting:


  • Set up monitoring tools to track application performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of applications and making informed decisions.

Change Management:


  • Implement and manage change control processes to ensure that changes to applications are planned, tested, and implemented in a controlled manner to minimise disruptions.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Continuously evaluate and identify areas for improvement in application deployment, management, and support processes, and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Diploma or higher with the below skills or experience
  • Proficiency in Logistical Information System (All Modules)
  • Experience across the full system development life cycle
  • Passion for capacity building and transfer of skills
  • At least 3 years of experience working as an application administrator
