A Well-established printing and publishing firm has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on the outer skirts of Pretoria-East
Pretoria-East and Kempton Park would be ideal areas to stay in
Working hours: Monday – Friday: 07h30 - 16h30
Duties will be, but are not limited to:
· Lead month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
· Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and packs for management review.
· Analyse financial data and trends to identify variances and areas for improvement.
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
· Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial information and assist with decision-making.
· Assist with approvals and review of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum requirements:
· BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on month-end procedures and financial analysis.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
· Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Pastel, Zoho) is a plus.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
