Description:
Have you completed your articles, with a prominent client base of group companies and have a passion and technical savvy for Revenue recognition, lease agreements, contract analysis and technical working papers. Take on this role where you will be responsible for Technical Accounting policies and included in key projects within this International company, a trusted partner to some of the world's leading industry initiatives.Preparation of Accounting analyses for complex contracts and transactions
Maintain accounting policies in compliance with FRS 102
Support dissemination and implementation of policies
Maintain financial control policies
Develop a training programme for technical accounting policies and delivery of the training
Involved in key reporting cycles for month-end, including supporting group consolidation and implementation of reporting processes
Involvement in group year-end audit process
Review of balance sheet recons
Provide technical accounting support
Ad hoc duties as required
Skills & Experience:
Completed SAICA articles
Application/ Implementation of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
FRS 102 working knowledge
Experience Auditing Group companies
Exposure to joint venture contracts highly beneficial
Strong ability in writing technical papers
Qualification:
CA(SA) or
Completed SAICA articles and registered AGA(SA)
